| When we first pulled up in front of the Knights Inn we were worried because the outside sure could use some paint to make it look better but once inside the room was spotless and had all the amenities we could have needed. It came with a continental breakfast and for the money was more than adequate. We were very satisfied with our stay. |

| pretty good location. 5 minute walk to the main street where all the public transit goes by. Never felt unsafe at night in the neighborhood. Nothing fancy, but clean and functional hotel. |

| If you are looking for the Hilton, this isn't it. The Inn is old and could use sprucing up such as painting, etc. However, it doesn't look run down either. If you plan on staying a night or two and really only need it for sleep, it is fine. The room is not luxurious, but it is suitable and was clean. The bathroom could use a little sprucing up and maintenance, although it too, was not dirty. The towel rack was loose from the wall and one end was really pulled out, so you could not put damp towels on it to dry off. All in all, it was an okay place to stay in if all you needed was just a clean bed to sleep in. I have been in worse places. Reading past reviews of the place left us feeling kind of doubtful that the place would be clean. I see the validity to some of the comments, but it wasn't such a bad place after all. |

| If you want non smoking do not come here. All we could smell was cigarette smoke. When we got home I had to wash everything to get rid of the smell. The smoke was coming from the vents from other rooms. |

| The other reviews that stated the pillows were flat, light bulbs needed changed (three of four lamps did not work)and overall disrepair are true. I would like to add that at 2:30 am very noisey people outsde using profanity (wife was scared), 6:30 am pipes started ratteling in wall as the people above our room took a shower that lasted ten minutes,8:00 am Sunday morning bells started ringing from two churches next to hotel every 15 minutes and the pitter patter of a small child in room above ours made for a very bad night of little sleep |

| I'd seen another review on this hotel that said it needed a lot of maintenance; it's been done. Our room was in very good condition, the outside structure had recently been repainted as well. All the furnishings were in great condition and I'm quite sure all of us who stayed there for this Roar on the Shore weekend will return to this location next year if they go. |

| Hotel old and rundown. Needs major renovation. Disppointed at the previous rating it had when we made the reservation. A 1 1/2 star is more appropriate. Great location, people were friendly, just needs renovating. |

| Took my 2 grandchildren to Splash Lagoon...it was approx. 6 miles or so down the main stretch...easy to find.We were economizing so we could stay 2 nts. it was much more reasonable than the hotels attached to Splash Lagoon.Office staff was very nice. |

| The basic needs of having a bed & a bathroom were the only things here. The staff was not very friendly during check in or any other time that I had to speak to them. The free breakfast was barley anything, the building needs to be re-painted. Housekeeping was nice and did a good job cleaning. The bed was hard and did not have enough pillows (or at least pillows worth using). The location is near a hosiptal, a church, and not much else. |
